A NEW GENERATION
We have a great family of young people here at CLC who play an active part in our church life. It is our desire to continue to see young people come to Christ, to be equipped, resourced and released into ministry and leadership within the body here, and beyond.
Sunday Mornings are a great place for young people to connect, explore faith and build relationships. Alongside this, we have a range of groups, meetings and opportunities for young people to get active and get involved!
A generation of FEARLESS Young People equipped to be Revival...
Working with Young People in School Years 7-11
Fearless Yth engage and connect with young people through games, activities, mentoring and events. This is all geared towards getting to know each other better, building strong and lasting friendships.
We work with young people to give them tools to truly be themselves and be a shining light in our world. We work in partnership with others, Scripture Union, the Methodist Church in St Helens and Limitless – Elim’s national youth movement.
We are a church group and all our work is rooted in the good news of Jesus. On Sundays, we explore this further through exploring God’s word, praying together, group discussions, discovering and practice of Spiritual Gifts.
Fearless Yth run a number of projects throughout the year, here’s what happened in 2022.
We ran two holiday club provisions for young people across St Helens in school years 5 -8 over Summer and October Half Term. With support in Summer from St Helens Council HAF fund.
Elim’s national youth programme Limitless met in person this year for the first time since COVID. We spent a week camping, learning, growing and worshipping together!
We are blessed to have five of sessions with the Message Trust bus at CLC St Helens, during October and November.
The bus is fully kitted out with everything you could ask for – from a climbing wall, slide and nail bar to games consoles. God’s love is poured out in practice and his word spoken and the end of each session.
We are running a number of mentoring sessions and informal education lessons in Cowley International College, helping students to engage in various topics to navigate teen life.
Alongside the Methodist Church, we were involved with prayer space in Nutgrove Primary School in June.
